Hello my Dear friends and WELCOME! I have never had any journals, neither on paper no on my computer. But to make this site more alive I decided to go with my blog. Your comments in this section would help me to understand what does people who come here want.
As I said before - this is just the beginning. That is why it might be not enough information on this site or designs in my store. At the moment my plans are to fill in my store with designs and to create a place for my fellow embroiderers to chat. What it would be (a blog, a chat, or a forum) I have no idea. It all depends on how much spare time would I have and what would you like it to be.
So… Let’s begin. What should I start with? Well, first of all, probably by telling you that machine embroidery is just my hobby. Not the first one and I’m more than sure not the last one either. List of my hobbies includes painting, sewing, knitting, gluing, molding, and macramé. Gosh, what didn’t I do? Of course I have to tell you in between my hobbies I was busy with a real stuff like work, getting married, and giving birth to my wonderful children. As of now I’m all in making embroidery designs. I’m naturally shy so I cannot tell you are they good or bad, but people seems to like it a lot.
When I was a beginner in machine embroidery. Yes, yes there was a time. So when I was a beginner the rule of thumb never worked for me. I didn’t want to use somebody else’s designs and of course I had no idea how to make my own designs either. That is why after a long search all over the Internet I decided to take classes from people who actually know how to make designs. By the way I would highly recommend to all beginners to take classes; it might be a bit pricey but it’s worth it. At the end of the day if you found money to buy an expensive embroidery machine you might as well to find a little bit more to learn how to embroider well.
It has been three years since I started to make my own designs and I can tell you there is no limit to perfection. This hobby stays with me for a long time. This is just the beginning of my journey. I have more and more questions about machine embroidery and looking for answers to that questions is a journey on it’s own.
At the end of this post I would like to ask you my friends to write in your comments what would you like to see in my blog? Maybe you have some suggestions to make about my blog or my designs. Please feel free to write it in comments section.
